Online Check-in Frequently Asked Questions

< Back to Fayetteville location page

Will using the online tool shorten my wait?
No. Summit Urgent Care manages wait times by utilizing highly trained nurses and providers to keep wait times to a minimum. You can walk in anytime, at your convenience, and your wait time will be minimal. The average wait time is under 15 minutes.

Is my reservation time a guarantee?
No, it is not. The urgent care will do its best to see when you arrive, but if there are sicker patients ahead of you, they may be seen first.

What does this service cost?
Nothing. It is absolutely free for patients.

Can I use Online Check-in even if I do not have insurance?
Online Check-in is free for everyone. It does not matter what insurance you have or whether you do not have any.

Should I use Online Check-in if I already have an occupational health or follow-up appointment scheduled?
No. Please arrive just before your appointment time and check in at the front desk.

Can I make one reservation for multiple people?
No. We can only see one patient per time slot. If more than one person needs to be seen, please reserve additional slots. You can view additional times by clicking on the blue drop down bar.

When I arrive, will I see a doctor right away?
You will be seen by a healthcare professional who will evaluate your condition and decide on the best course of action for you. You may be seen by a nurse practitioner, physician, physician assistant, or some other combination of healthcare professionals.

What happens if I’m late?
There is a 15 minute grace period. If you are later than that time frame, you may lose your spot in line.

I made a reservation, but now I cannot get there on time. Can I adjust my time?

I have made 3 or 4 visits to Summit Urgent Care in the last year. I have always been extremely pleased with the care I have received. The actual facility is very nice and clean. The sign in process is fast and the wait times are usually short. I went in one time with more of an emergency case and I was seen immediately. The Urgent Care doctor felt that I needed more care than they could provide and suggested I go to the ER. She explained why and she made the right decision. I appreciated the fact that they did not try to treat an injury that needed to be seen by an orthopedist and a neurosurgeon. For more routine care, I have been extremely pleased with the care provided. The staff members are friendly and very attentive to my needs. I feel that I have always received excellent more

Went in with my two kids. All three of us were sick. Acute bronchitis for me. They were fast, caring and thorough! Great experience!! Super clean facility and professional staff! Dr. Russell was awesome! My kids even received toys for their visit out of a prize box.

Great facility! I wish I had known about this sooner. Went in late Friday night with a spider bite which became cellulitis and they treated me promptly. Friendly staff, great doctor and clean, well equipped facility. I would highly recommend!

The staff at Summit are awesome. Unfortunately I've to visit them about 4 times in the past month or so. Once with arthritis in my lower back, they were quick to treat me and give relief.Recently I was diagnosed with Pneumonia. They showed extreme concern for me. Gave me an Injection to speedier relief. Follow up was done and thankfully I'm better. The wait time is virtually nothing. Staff is extremely professional, caring and more
